On Sunday I had a bit of an accident with my bicycle and hurt my knee, so I couldn’t go to work for a few days. So I had lots of time to indulge in my hobbies.
I’ve finished book 2 of the Untamed. I really enjoy it even though I have sometimes trouble remembering who’s who. All the names are so alike. 😂
I’ve also been watching some dramas. I caught up with I hear the Sunspot. The English name kinda sounds weird to me. ひだまりが聞こえる kinda flows better in my opinion. But I love it so much. It’s such a good adaptation. I can really feel the emotion and the inner turmoil. This will definitely become one of my top 5 Japanese Bl’s for sure.
I’ve also started watching “the shadow”. I love Singto as an actor and I really like him in this role because it’s not just a typical BL plot. Right now Im on episode 4. I love the whole board school setting. The horror mystery. I kinda forgotten how much I loved horror movies and this is like the perfect mix. It ticks all my boxes. 😂
“Wandee Godday” has also been good, but I kinda lost a bit interest at the moment. I feel like the tension isn’t there anymore. I’m currently on episode 9, not so sure if I’ll continue.
I’ve also been studying a bit Japanese and it made me realise I have been slacking lmao. I’ve also started reading the manga ひらやすみ. But my approach to it is kinda different. I’m kinda using it more as a study aid. It’s been a bit tiring at times, looking up all the words that I can’t understand. Not to mention all the kanji.
I’ve been thinking, maybe I should go with a manga where I already know the story. Now that I am watching “I hear the Sunspot” hmmm どうしよう 🤔
